"In his illness, the patient has likely become estranged from loved ones. The Enemy desires this; he wants you to be far away from those who want the best for you. Cutting off their influence, he can have you all to himself."
I think unfortunately the common problem of my generation and younger is your own extended and immediately family are the perpetrators. Which sucks.
That reminds me of Mark 1:21-26, and other exorcisms of Jesus:
"21 They went to Capernaum, and when the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach. 22 The people were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who had authority, not as the teachers of the law. 23 Just then a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an impure spirit cried out, 24 “What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God!”
25 “Be quiet!” said Jesus sternly. “Come out of him!” 26 The impure spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek"

As I was reading, I was thinking about Sun and Steel by Mishima, along with Father Ripperger.
I have heard few voices that sound so trustworthy and confidence-inspiring as Father Ripperger's.
To what does Theoden then aspire?
To fight Sauron, save his kingdom, come to his friends' aid
To do so he aspires to the balance of virtues to do so graciously. (Pardon me as I refine my “word smithing”.)
This made me think I need to go camping and fishing or hunting without my cell phone
Not a bad idea!
I love this so much I might print it out and keep it on the side of the fridge.
All this time I've been making my bed in the morning, I could have been grasping a sword?
It will be in JBP's upcoming third book of twelve rules for life
This is very good advice
JRRT knew his stuff!

This is marvelous. Do you or Tolkien have any suggestions on how to approach a possessed female?
