My ultimate goal is to found an Academy of Chivalry. The Academy will not be dedicated to historical re-enactment, not a refuge for LARPers who want to go back to the 12th century—but instead a vital training ground for the the kind of vigorous and virtuous young men that a society will need if it is to bring itself back from the brink of destruction. As CS Lewis noted, chivalry is not just a quaint historical idea, but the hope of civilization.
Would you be willing to help me set up a similar curriculum for young ladies? Something complementary to this, I've head of the masculine virtues, are there feminine virtues as well? If so, what are they?
This is the most exciting thing I’ve read from you yet.
Huon of Bordeaux (and the chansons) have such fantastic lessons to teach. Not just about chivalric manliness but in prayer to with the “epic credo”. Very much looking forward to this, and hopefully small ways to support.
Perfect idea. Many "conservatives" can't see that the ideal society is low-tech to the max: Truth and Luddism go together. This is why Fantasy Lit is so effective: It puts Man in primitive nature and centers Medieval values.
I spent one semester at a military school and grew more in those 3 months than the balance of my undergrad studies - would love to see my sons take up this challenge.
Questions for the author: Do you have a geographic region in mind for the campus? Age-range for students? Summer term or as a replacement for the regular school term? Is the goal to offer an accredited degree or something that exists outside that system? Any affiliation with a broader institution such as a church? I realize you're in the early phases - but would love to hear more as the vision becomes concrete.
I admire your vision and the courage to share it with the world. I'll be praying for you in this because I believe it is a noble and worthy goal. Would love to contribute in whatever way possible. I'm also going to get my hands on “The Necessity of Chivalry” by CS Lewis soon because it's obviously inspired you and aside from Ivanhoe and a few other stories I don't know much on about chivalry or knighthood and that needs to change.

As I read through your goal, I heard one word... YES! Keep your eyes on the horizon, as all upright humans should.
